Right, it’s setup – http://kilps.za.net/blog – the new home for this blog, hopefull with some new content as well. I sort of feel that this blog has been too haphazard, I now plan to write some more ‘meaningful’ content about what’s happening today. Mabye taking more of a ‘column’ approuch to writing; I don’t know – let’s see
.
Thanks wordpress for hosting me – but now I’m on my own.

Just saying that I’m back and will be post more later

The new digg.com I think is awesome, at first I had thought that it was a bit too cluttered but now that I have gotten used to it I think the way that all the stories are structured is brilliant.
My only real comlaint is the current number of stories, after just one day of not looking at digg v3 I had to read through the latest 14 pages. Now while it is obviose to me that I am going to have to cut down on the number of categories I subscribe to I cannot decide, so far gaming is removed but the rest I want to keep
Oh well – there is still a wealth of content there and I am sure things will return to normal soon enough.
And a side-note – my base can now be accessed at www.kilps.za.net

Considering there is so much of me on different services arround the web I have created my ‘base’. The idea is that it links to this blog as well as my digg, del.ico.us, flickr and last.fm accounts all from one page. The domain has not yet gone through (once it has I will probably move this blog over to it) – but you can see a preview here.
Does anyone think that other people would be interesting in something like this which was easy to configure? Shouldn’t be too hard to set up – let people login and change their personal base…

Instead of writing a blog post – I create a comparison chart, download it for my comments ….
It isn't perfectly formated as a pdf, so the edge of the first page is the last page

With just one week left until my holiday I have just been working on some of my projects. I afraid that the cms has just been pushed out of the way (I know that I was meant to upload what I had done so far, well if it is wanted then let me know and will actually do so) for one of my many projects: this time a price comparison engine for South Africa.
It is similar to Froogle in it’s backed but once the front end is finished I plan to offer something truly unique and usefull. From all that I have found there isn’t a good service like this in the country yet so I hope to fill that gap.
Perhaps we will see an alpha release in a month or two…
Well besides that I have continued to add some photos to Flickr – but I hope to have a lot more interest content up after that holiday, so we will have to see.
Until I remember that this blog exists, cheers.

The last time I tried Flock was when the first version had just been released, I didn’t like it.
I have not downloaded their latest version and I must say that I am pretty impressed. The browser seems very stable and writing this blog post by just pressed ‘Blog This’ and an instant window pops up is pretty neat.
So far my only complaint is the way of organizing bookmarks – under Firefox I have heireachial folders – here all my folders are just listed – but I still need to look at this properly.
Flock is a free web browser that makes it easier than ever to share photos, stay up-to-date with news from your favorite sites, and search the Web. Take our tour to learn what’s different about Flock, then download the beta to get started – and please tell us what you think.

Well aparently I am a .doc (never!), OS/2 Warp (what exactly is that?) and Godfrey Ugo (who is that?)
Take them for yourself:

But my favourite question wa:
Which phrase appears the most times on your elementary school report cards?
"Talks too much"
"Works well with others"
"Eats too much glue"
"Star pupil"
"Spends too much time organizing revolts"
Sorry about the random post… I will probably regret it and take it down …

Ok – I have put a few of my photos up on flickr, they arn't much – there isn't anything else I have which I think is nearly good enough to put up – but during these holidays I plan to take alot more photos. Flickr: Photos from kilps. For some reason I have suddenly had a desire to do more photography
– I think I will just play around with some basic photos of my own for now and then figure out some shiney stuff …
Anyway – exams are finished now!
(just need to get the marks …) so I shall try and get more posts in …

Ok sure, it is pretty late ATM (I have just gotten home) but I cannot seem to find something interesting to read (which is what I feel like), well considering my usual sources aren't turning up much … I might as well list them:
Well that is the normal stuff … ahhh, I think I actually just need sleep
